Ken Cornell for Alachua County Commission District 4
Welcome and thank you for visiting. I’m Ken Cornell, and I’m running for re-election to the Alachua County Commission.
I’m proud of the real progress we’ve made. From historic investments in infrastructure and protecting rural lands to strengthening our fiscal position, I’m running again to build on that momentum.
I bring experience, strong values and a proven commitment to protecting our community. I invite you to learn more about my record, priorities and how you can get involved.
I’m running to build on our progress — strengthening infrastructure, protecting our environment and ensuring every family has the opportunity to thrive in Alachua County.
We’ve made historic investments in repairing and upgrading roads, improving stormwater systems and modernizing our infrastructure, and we will continue on this progress.
We’re expanding access to affordable homes by investing in smart development, preserving neighborhood character and supporting working families.
By balancing budgets, practicing sound planning and keeping reserves in place, we’ve maintained strong financial footing while expanding services where they’re needed most.
We’ve preserved thousands of acres of rural lands, improved water quality and are advancing circular economy strategies to reduce waste and emissions.
Strong communities start with strong support systems. That’s why I’ve expanded access to parks, libraries, public health and youth programs across Alachua County.
I stand up for civil rights, voting rights, local control and transparency in government. I believe these values make our community inclusive and fair.
